Do you know your anime!?

Do you know your anime?

There are so many different mangas and animes in the world, just like there are different books and movies.
People don't usually take these japanese comics too seriously, but the stories are as good as books. The only difference is that the writers draw the story instead, making the emotions leap off the page.

I know so many different series it would be quite impossible to count them, but today that is not what I'm talking about. (I just found the video and liked it because of its' seamless cutting and befitting music.) I just want to ask one thing from you, even if you don't read this blog regularly or even if this is your first time. What do you read or watch? It's a lot easier to talk about stuff that interest you if I had any idea about what they are. So please enlighten me.
What is it that you like?

My own drawings

This is a really good remix and the clips are put perfectly together! Please enjoy!

Yeah, you've probably noticed all the pictures I put up here. None of them are mine, but that doesn't mean that I don't draw. Today I'll put up some of my own pictures. They aren't nearly as good as the ones I've put here up til now, but I'm still just a novice anyway.

I did this one as a request to my friend on christmas, so you can just ignore the 'Merry Christmas!'. I'm a bit dissapointed with the length of the tail and of course the backround, but I think I could do it a bit better now.

I drew this one as a cover for a story I'm writing, though the storys name has been changed. The head became a bit too big, but otherwise it became ok.

I wanted to make a girl facing away from the sun, but since I became totally lasy with the backround, it kinda ruined the effect. Here too the face is a bit too big, but all in all it's good.

Yeah, I did this on fathers' day and the 'Hyvää isänpäivää!' is in finnish and means Happy Fathers' Day. I probably like this one the best, don't know why.

All of these are coloured with ProMarkers and I have to excuse myself for the poor lines.
Please tell me what you think and why!

Manga, anime and Harry Potter

As you've probably already noticed, I like the japanese style called Manga. Here is an amazingly fun video where the maker has put small anime-clips together and made it an AMV.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Aside from manga and anime, I'm a total bookworm who can read two Harry Potter-books in one day and who always has at least one or two books at hand. When I go on a trip, if I don't have at least 500 pages of something to read I would go crazy.
I'll post some book-rewievs here later about the books I've read and liked.
